EasyTable for J! EasyTable is a Joomla 1.5 component that allows you to import CSV files into Joomla as separate database tables. Once imported the table can be configured to display some or all fields in the either the list or detail views or both.
EasyTable Editor Explained (Part 1) Each table created in the EasyTable component can be configured to show/hide fields in either the list or detail views. The table editor lets you treat fields as either text, URL's, names of images or links to records detail views.
EasyTable Editor (Part 2) - Alias' & CSS & Type Alias & Type & CSS In the Editor each component has a use, otherwise it wouldn't be there. After all we've all got things to do. When a table is first created each column is given an Alias. The Alias is used in lot of ways as CSS labels and MySQL table column names.

Get EasyTable Pro !

EasyTable ProEasyTable Pro is only available to current support subscribers.  Support Subscritpions are discussed in this FAQ.

To get a Support Subscription you need to register as a user of the See People Software website. Once you've registered a confirmation email will be sent to your account, you may want to check that your SPAM filters will allow email from seepeoplesoftware.com.

Activate your account by clicking on the link included in the confirmation email.

Once activated you can log in, at this point you will be presented with the opportunity to get a support subscription for 3 or 6 mths. Remember support subscriptions are only required for access to the Support Subscribers forum and EasyTable Pro - they are not required to download the free EasyTable for J!

Anytime you're logged into the Joomla section of the website you can click on the "My Subscription" link in the "User Menu" to see the current state of your subscription and any previous invoices.

Once you've logged in you can get the latest versions and any pre-release versions of the EasyTable components from the Support Subscribers Forum.

 

Pre-release EasyTable Pro v0.6.0

EasyTable Pro - Pre-releaseOver the coming weeks you will see updates to the EasyTable Pro version of our popular EasyTable for J! component. The current pre-release version is available now to subscribers.

Once the features get implemented we will endeavour to create new articles showing how to implement and use them on your website. Unfortunately, as some feature implementations will change based on user feed back the "How-To's" may not appear until the implementation of any given feature is complete.

As always we would encourage you to provide feedback about the direction we're taking with EasyTable Pro in the forums, in this case we want to here for active Support Subscribers so please give you feedback on the Pro version of the component in the Subscriber Forum.

EasyTable Pro - Field Display Options

Field Types

EasyTable Pro supports all the standard types found in EasyTable for J! and two additional fields types to help provide better display and sorting features.

It also support field options that affect the formatting of each field, the options vary by type but all support token replacement with values from the current field or other fields.
